Doug Coberly holds a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do from Master Craig Cheverier and has run Hoshin Blackbelt Academy since taking it over from master Cheverier four years ago.

Mr. Coberly is a displaced Texan with a love of martial arts, boxing, and kick boxing. He belives that each student's path is his or her own, and allows students to progress at their own pace. Whether it's a a 3 to 5 year-old Mighty Mite, teen, or adult, Doug allows the student to set the training level.

Doug believes in the Empty Your Cup philosophy and fosters this ideal with his students blending what they already know with new ideas and new techniques not only from Tae Kwon Do , but from wherever they are found.
